Stephen Tighe is a lifelong New Jerseyan and former senior advisor to U.S. Congressman Bill Pascrell, Jr., where he learned to advocate fiercely and effectively for everyday people like you and me. Drawing on years of experience shaping public policy and negotiating with high-ranking officials, he brings that same clear, direct, and aggressive approach to the courtroom.
Stephen’s time in Congress drove home a hard truth: systems meant to protect people often fail—unless someone steps in and makes them work. The legal system is no exception. Today, he brings to every case the same rage for justice that guided him in public service—because when someone is hurt through no fault of their own, those responsible should be held accountable. Period.
As the oldest of five in a family rooted in public service, Stephen carries the discipline of his father, a police officer, and the compassion of his mother, a teacher, into every case. At Gill & Chamas, he fights to make sure people like you get the justice they deserve—and that those who caused harm don’t get away with it.
Born in Trenton and raised in Brick, Stephen now resides in Monmouth County with his wife, Victoria.
