Thomas De Seno graduated Monmouth University in 1987 with a degree in Political Science, and a Juris Doctorate from Widener University School of Law in 1990. At Widener he was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society Interscholastic Team, an author at the Delaware Law Forum and an editor at The Moot Court Report.

In 1991 he was awarded a Judicial Clerkship with the Honorable Arthur Blake, JSC in the Monmouth County Superior Court, Freehold, New Jersey.

Mr. De Seno has been concentrating his practice in personal injury litigation for 20 years. From 1991 to 1997 he worked in the insurance defense industry and was Senior Defense Counsel in New Jersey for a world-wide insurance carrier, trying personal injury cases throughout New Jersey. He also became licensed to practice before the United State's District Court during that time.

While operating as defense counsel, Mr. De Seno gained a unique and valuable understanding of the inner workings of insurance companies, including how they value lawsuits and what makes them pay on claims made by Plaintiffs.

In 1997 he founded and operated the Law Offices of Thomas De Seno, with offices in Monmouth and Ocean Counties, which concentrated in Plaintiff personal injury lawsuits and trials as well as cases against insurance companies directly. Mr. De Seno developed a unique concentration in defamation cases, and in year 2000 was the first in New Jersey to successfully bring a claim on behalf of a public official for defamation against a commenter on an Internet website.

In 2011 he merged his practice with Gill & Chamas where he operates as a trial lawyer on bodily injury cases.
