Erroll J. Haythorn

Mr. Haythorn attended Ohio University in Athens, Ohio and graduated in 1995 with a Bachelors of Art degree in Sociology/Criminology.  Mr. Haythorn continued his academic studies at the Claude W. Pettit School of Law at Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio.  Throughout his summers during law school, he returned home to Toms River, New Jersey, as a summer associate with the law firm of Novins, York, Pentony & Pagano, P.C.  Mr. Haythorn earned his Juris Doctorate in 2000. 

Thereafter, Mr. Haythorn clerked in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division, for the Honorable James M. Havey, P.J.A.D. (Retired).  After his judicial clerkship, he worked as an associate with the law firm of Budd Larner, P.C., in Short Hills, New Jersey.  Mr. Haythorn practiced civil litigation concentrating in products liability and medical malpractice. 

In 2004, Mr. Haythorn started as an associate with Gill & Chamas.  His civil practice consists of personal injury, negligence, construction site accidents, nail gun accidents, ski resort liability, products liability, medical malpractice, premise liability and slip and falls, as well as appellate work.  He also maintains a criminal practice that includes all municipal court matters such as motor vehicle violations, expungements, DWI, and Superior Court criminal matters.

Mr. Haythorn is licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey and New York State and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court of New Jersey.  He is member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (American Association for Justice).
